Data Deletion
Last updated: 2026-06-12
You have the right to request deletion of the personal data Konectus stores about you. This page explains what we delete, how to make the request, and how long it takes.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile, login credentials, and authentication tokens
- Bots, integrations, message templates, and configuration you created
- Conversation history, leads, and customer contact records you owned
- OAuth tokens and access credentials for connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Calendar, etc.)
- Webhook subscriptions and Stripe customer references
What we may retain
For legal, security, and tax compliance reasons we may retain a minimal record for up to 7 years: billing invoices, fraud-prevention logs, and audit trails of significant administrative actions. These records do not include the content of your conversations or customer data.
How to request deletion
You have three options:
- Self-serve from your dashboard. Sign in, open Profile & Security, and use the "Delete account" option. This is the fastest path: deletion completes within 24 hours.
- Email us. Send a deletion request from the email address tied to your account to [email protected]. We will confirm your identity, delete your data within 30 days, and email you a confirmation.
- Disconnected via Facebook / Instagram. If you removed Konectus from your Facebook account's Business Integrations, Meta notifies us automatically. We then delete the OAuth tokens and any data we received exclusively from that connection within 30 days. To trigger this, go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations and remove Konectus.
Timeline
Self-serve deletions complete within 24 hours. Email and Meta-triggered deletions complete within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17. We send a confirmation email when deletion finishes.
